Hello all. The StraighterLine website isn't very clear about this. But basically, does StraighterLine send transcripts directly to TESU like study.com or do I need to get it onto my ACE transcript and send it that way? I'm trying to figure out if I can go ahead and send ACE to TESU or if I should wait until I finish SL calc 2 first...
Thanks!

You should add it to your ACE either way, but SL does offer a free transcript to TESU

Yes, you can send it to TESU directly for now, send your Study.com also. I would place everything into ACE as well as a credit bank, just in case you may forget later. All your courses from Sophia, StraighterLine, Study.com and so on that can go on an ACE recommendation should be added into ACE and sent to TESU for a FINAL review at the time of graduation audit.

Thankyou. Yeah I always submit classes to ACE as I complete them and submitted SDC to TESU as I completed them. Basically, I'm just feeling antsy about getting my institutes ethics course sent over to TESU(feels good to see more green "COMPLETE"s on my evaluation). My sophia, teex and nfa courses don't really matter as they are just more extras.

Can I ask, is there a reason you feel "antsy"? My Institutes Ethics along with Teex and NFA are already on my Ace transcript. Does TESU still accept those courses mentioned as a source of credit? Now you got me feeling "antsy" lol....

Lol it's not a problem. I just spoke with academic advising today to have everything planned out and approved so I'm already good to go. I just like seeing my tesu evaluation populating with the green "COMPLETE"s

I just like seeing my tesu evaluation populating with the green "COMPLETE"s I see, I just wanted to check. Seeing it on your tesu eval gives confirmation and peace of mind. I honestly quit tracking the statuses of past courses I have taken after they hit my ACE transcript. I have read that TESU sometimes (rarely) would give people a hard time on the 1 credit waiver for Insurance Ethics. These types of issues seem to get worked out, but they can cause a temporary headache until it gets resolved.

I don't ever remember having heard that there was a problem with the acceptance of the Ethics course, and I've been here since before that was a thing.

I think I've seen it where it wasn't automatically waived by the system like it usually is, but I don't think it's ever taken more than an email or call to advising to correct.

In case someone is coming across this via search, SL seems to have sent my courses over to Liberty automatically, as well. (I'm pretty sure I didn't even ask them to send the transcript. I mean, I have Liberty set as my transfer school, but I don't think I specifically submitted a transcript request. I was expecting to have to send the ACE transcript, but logged into my Liberty transcript one day and found it was just THERE.)
