Hi everyone, so I had a subscription for Shmoop to finish the last few credits towards my degree, but now that's out  .
I was looking at Sophia.org's website and they seem to have a free class (not the one credit class but a three credit class). Is this for real? It's not listed anywhere on this site, so I was wondering if there's a catch?

Neither are 3 credits but if you've only done one of them you might as well do the other one

If you sign up under the University of Pheonix portal you will find a few more courses listed as free.
Foundations of College Algebra
Foundations of Statistics
Foundations of English Composition
They are listed on the ACE transcript website for 3cr each. The catch is they are "Fundamental" or "Remedial" courses and your college may not give you the ACE listed credit.

Thanks for this info. On the Pheonix Sophia portal it has a - instead of the credit amount, is the credit still able to be received? And also, does the free Foundations of English Composition class fulfill the ENC-101 acquirement for BALS with TESU?

I have taken Sophia classes under three different email addresses. I used the normal Sophia page, the TESU page and the Ashford page. I requested credit from all three for my only ACE account and all were posted.
