My time is much better spent focusing on my Basic Program courses. I am near the end of my winter term and looking forward to beginning my spring term.
In the future, I hope to only begin conversations having to do with distance learning. Please, everyone, feel free to remind me of this hope should I stray.
However, I do want to claim one exception. Some of you may remember just a little while ago, I mentioned throwing some Water Lotus Flower seeds into a Bowl of water. No blossoms yet, but they are growing rapidly. I am expecting spectacular and, as mentioned previously. I hope to share a photo.
Darn I guess you're all done gloating, shucks. This is typical, it's all fun and games until someone points out Trump openly supporting Putin and now you must withdraw, or the conversation is a "dumpster fire". Totally not a cult though.
I would just like to formally announce that I as well shall be withdrawing from this conversation. I have filed the proper paperwork and will no longer be responding to this thread. I also always have and continue to fully support throwing the Off Topic section completely into the trash as it doesn't belong on this forum. All it does is cause rifts between members trying to earn degrees and posting about Neil Young or Joe Rogan can be done on X, 4chan, or some other propaganda network that has a problem living in reality. Have a nice day.

The Off Topic section has been heavy with politics lately, but there's a world of other off-topic things we could talk about that could bring people together too.

The problem is many aspects of our lives is tied to politics, especially in the last month. I hope we can actually discuss these issues objectively, especially as they pertain to education.

Again the comment referenced voting for Trump is in line with the KKK, which is true. The KKK endorsed Trump.
They also mentioned the Nazi salute, which we have seen Elmo do as well as various other members of the republican party so far (twice at CPAC!)
You know as well as I do that those groups hate Jewish people and minorities in general. All the more reason their associations are even more concerning. Trump's son in law is Jewish, his daughter converted to Judaism. Stephen Miller is Whitehouse Deputy Chief of Staff, Howard Lutnick is Secretary of Commerce, Lee Zeldin is Administrator of the EPA, Steve Witkoff is United States Special Envoy to the Middle East
During Trump's first term, David Friedman was Ambassador to Israel, Steve Mnuchin was Treasury Secretary, David Shulkin was VA Secretary.
No one who supports or is a Neo-nazi or KKK member has any Jewish people in their administration.
freeloader and I already addressed this. Catch up.
You have addressed nothing and I irrefutably showed how your comments on this topic are idiotic nonsense.

The price of eggs has been down since Trump took office. Another win added to the win total.

Our democratic process is deeply flawed. Allowing a dictator to become president shows we really need to re-examine our democratic process. This shouldn't have happened. I think the catastrophe started when Democrats forced a candidate upon us who everyone hated. Maybe what they should have done was had an emergency poll, polling likely voters in the swing states, and chosen the candidate that what were most likely to win the swing states. The Democrats helped us elect a dictator, and only they know why.

Art of the Deal right here:
1. Let a virus ravage poultry farms
2. See supply of eggs get reduced
3. Price of eggs then goes up
4. People stop buying eggs
5. Price of eggs reduces
6. Claim so much winning
7. (Optional) Tank the stock market

The Trump administration launched a common-sense $1 billion plan aimed at combating high egg prices. Remarkably, within a week of announcing this initiative, egg prices plummeted.

Let's tally up all the recent wins on inflation:
- Egg Prices: Dropped by more than $2 since Trump took office. (+1 Win)
- Gas Prices: Now at a four-year low. (+1 Win)
- Overall Inflation: Also at a four-year low. (+1 Win)
- Budget-Neutral Continuing Resolution (CR) Bill: Successfully passed without increasing spending. (+1 Win)
- DOGE Spending Cuts: Achieved an impressive $200 billion in spending reductions. (+2 Wins – awarding 1 point per $100 billion saved)
These decisive actions highlight meaningful progress in easing the financial burden on American households.
