Source for Online RA Credit?(Outlier.org)

I got a 'P' grade but that particular course wasn't included in TESU's catalogue.

'COS-104 Computer Science Fundamentals'

So this is a non-existing TESU course they give credit for when you complete MicroBachelor in Computer Science Fundamentals.

Traditional school rejected this credit because they coudln't find any course description on TESU website. Also, there was no course syllabus file they could find.
Here's TESU catalogue: https://www2.tesu.edu/listall.php

Outlier courses are similar because they're also giving credits for non-existing Univ. of Pitts courses.

All outlier courses are in this way. When you try to get them evaluated, there's very high chance that they won't transfer.
They can transfer only when the person who evaluates your course credits is really lazy at his/her work. If that person is too lazy enough to not search course number on university catalogue, then you're super lucky.

Credits from Oakton Community College, EA are going to transfer to traditional schools easily because their in-person version courses are already popular & listed on catalogue site.

You're comparing apples to oranges here, even though the outcome might be similar.

TESU is giving you college credit for an edX course.  They are not trying to claim that they're giving you transferable credit, or making it look like they're transcribing the credit.  They are telling you how they're going to bring IN outside credit, with no claim for how it would transfer OUT (it won't, since TESU will show that it is transfer credit).

Outlier is saying that their credits are transcribed on a Pitt transcript as if you took the course at Pitt.

Completely different things.

They might transfer and they might not, but one thing is true - the course selection is BORING.

Yes - but nomaduser originally implied he tried to send courses on a transcript, which was a total lie.  He did not take the course, did not get the course on a Pitt Transcript, and did not get the course rejected on that basis.  He's trying to get a school to accept Outlier courses directly from Outlier's syllabus, which is not what you're supposed to do.  He has absolutely no knowledge that Pitt won't transcribe the courses and give a syllabus for it.  Zero.

I transferred TEL courses without any issue.

Please take the Outlier courses with your own money and time and tell us how they transfer to a traditional school.

There was a guy from NYU who couldn't transfer his old NYU courses credits because they're no longer listed on NYU catalogue and the transfer credit specialist at UMPI couldn't find any info about the courses.

Outlier courses don't show up on Univ. of Pitts course catalogue either. They're non-existing Univ. of Pitts courses.

If other people fail to transfer Outlier credits, please compensate them with your own money. Pay their 3 months of rent as well.

Risk is part of the game in degree hacking. We guinea pig a lot of stuff around here and it doesn't always work. It's just part of the process. You win some you lose some.

It's not what that person said. They said they expected that UMPI will bring in NYU credits as upper level and it didn't happen.

Information
NEW COURSE:

College Writing 1

Also, looks like they've launched some certificates which are just bundled courses with some mild cost savings:

Certificates

As others have mentioned, do your due diligence and accept some risk when taking these courses to see if they transfer. So far all the courses they've launched have been very common courses that are easy to find(often cheaper) elsewhere either as RA or alt credits. ASU UL/EA actually has all of these(except for philosophy and statistics) plus some others for a comparable price point with free auditing and the option to not pay unless you pass(other than the $25).

WHY?  They already have the Micro and Macro courses folks are going to need for a business degree.  What does this benefit?

My high school senior is taking Econ - it's required for graduation in MANY states.  This would fulfill the requirement, otherwise he would have to take BOTH Macro and Micro.  When we were thinking of having him do dual enrollment for this, we had a difficult time finding a straight Econ course.
