New Mexico Junior College http://www.nmjc.edu/ - very low for in and out of state

You mentioned Clovis Community College, but there are two one in NM and once CA

Clovis Community College (NM)  http://www.clovis.edu/ - very low for in and out of state

I'm not sure about the Clovis CC in CA - but I made the mistake of going to thier site (http://www.cloviscollege.edu/) once and was through for a second - didn't realize there were two CCs with the same name.

Isn't Luna the school you could (can) take online courses, but you had to do it in real time (fixed local time classes) with a webcam for a virtual classroom experience?  It was very odd for an online course, not sure if they still have that requirement (if indeed this is the school I'm thinking of)

- I know being yet another NM CC very low cost for both in and out of state.

Your memory is correct. They told me that on the phone when I called - but it's been a while now, maybe 2-3 years, so I'd be curious to hear from someone who has taken a course with them to confirm. I was a fan of Luna, even did a degree plan using CLEP (they didn't accept ACE) and their minimum 15. Good deal, shared it on my page often, but when they encountered the accreditation issues, I pulled it and I still don't know anyone who has actually taken classes there.

Though specific to North Carolina, if you live here, 3 of our state universities now offer $500 flat rate tuition per semester undergrad. It's rolling out for this academic year (2018-2019) so not sure if it's a hero or zero just yet. Out of state isn't terrible ($2500/semester), but the best deal is for in-state residents who start in 11th grade. You can do the first two years for free through all of our community colleges, then $2000 TOTAL for the remainder. That's a full bachelor's degree for $2000 all in. No ACE, but CLEP and AP are accepted. https://homeschoolingforcollegecredit.co...ees-in-nc/

It's very easy to search using our state tool - simply filter by school and distance learning. About a dozen via DL, everything of course can be taken in person. http://www.northcarolina.edu/apps/programs/index.php

I'm currently at WCU using this NC Promise program. I paid full price this summer semester just to keep the ball rolling. The $500 tuition will kick in this Fall semester. The current funding is through Summer 2019. Nobody really knows if the program will be continued. NC promise applies at UNC Pembroke, Elizabeth City State University, and Western Carolina University. Of the the three, WCU offers the most online programs, UNCP is a close second, and ECSU offers next to no distance programs.

I ended up picking WCU's BSBA Business Law program. Between CLEP and courses I've taken at community college, I was able to transfer in enough courses to only need 36 credits to finish the program. They require 30 credits 300 or 400 level courses to establish residency anyway, so this wasn't a program.

One of the overlooked benefits to NC Promise is that you can combine it with UNC Online to take courses at other UNC schools while paying the $500 tuition rate. My current plan is to use UNC Online to finish the courses required for a Finance Major at WCU at the same time as my Bus Law program.

Yes. Also Luna does not have much selection, but has the best prices.
