It'll be an Associates of Applied Science, it's much better than just an Associates in General Studies!  I mean, Sophia.org is the way to go to complete those requirements...

Sounds like she's not willing to do that. Some people can be really stubborn. A degree that took forever to finish in-person is clearly superior to all online degrees.  Rolleyes

Yep, that's part of the problem. She won't do anything online. In fact in 2020 and for part of this year when her school suspended in-person learning, she dropped out again, lol.

LOL, I still don't get it, she can do it! Take the courses from her community college, and take the online versions, if any... If she has to go the community college route, she can find some "other" community colleges and take online courses there, then transfer it back to her college. She's still taking them from B&M colleges, just their online versions of the course.

Does she not understand what's been happening in the world? Man in this time she could have completed a couple of bachelor's degrees. And in this time I mean since March 2020. That's really sad. She could FLY through a ton of classes on Sophia. Is she an older person who dislikes the internet? Does she have a learning disability? Or is it she's just young and not really that into college? I think you said she was 23.

Hahaha. Nah, she just dropped out a bunch of times and kept stopping for years and restarting... then stopping again. Personally, I think she's never going to make it, but I've never been one to tell people to stop going after something they say they want so I don't discourage her. I did try to help her with some online solutions, she won't do it, so, here she is 23 years and still working toward that Associate degree in GENERAL STUDIES :-(

She's doing less than 1 class a year!

Even in 2021, we still have people who believe that online learning is not a viable method of learning despite the fact that the majority of what we learn now comes (and has come for a while) from online sources.

No, she started taking college courses in 1998. She's not old, no learning disabilities that I know of. She's just a person who doesn't finish what she starts and can never stay focused on something long enough to make good progress.

I also have issued focusing on and finishing certain tasks. But even I can't imagine spending 20+ years on a 2-year degree. That's insanity.

She definitely can't pass for a professional student, lol.
