I hope the essays weren't meant to be super detailed because I kind of just answered the questions directly and added some stuff to lengthen it up. Gonna be so anxious until I get the results.
If all else fails at least I still have the May term to try again, but really hoping I don't have to go through it again.
Woah, good for you, I'm sure you did great! I'd say I'm quite anxious about taking the plunge, because I'm having trouble memorizing everything. How long did you study for this (how many hrs per day, etc)?

My plan had be taking it this weekend but I probably got a total of 2 hours of studying done in the last 2 WEEKS so its a no go for me. Aiming for next weekend but not sure, hope to hear so specific feedback from strawberryxfuzz as well

I finally took the Strategic Management TECEP today (feels like I've been studying for it forever!). Based on how I felt after I took the Business in Society TECEP and how I scored on that, I'm pretty confident I passed Strategic Management. Not that I'm not eager to get my result back!
I probably studied about 25 hours spread over the last six weeks. I used Crafting & Executing Strategy (18th ed.) -- the TESU recommended textbook. (There was no problem using an older edition, which I bought for little more than the cost of shipping.) I made my own flashcards from the textbook. (I find the act of physically writing things helps me recall them.)
I also looked at nyrapy's flashcards and bricabrac's notes, as well as the feedback on the forum, and the official TECEP test description. As I said about the Business in Society TECEP, pay close attention to the test description. If it's not in the description, it's not on the test. And study the "lists" in the textbook.
I've seen a couple of people comment that they thought Strategic Management was easier than Business in Society. I didn't find it so. For me, there was a lot more material to (try to) memorize on Strategic Management (all those @#$% lists!). But YMMV.
Thanks to all the forum-ites who provided invaluable aid and guidance for this test, especially bricabrac, nyrapy, and TESUAbroad.

I have to say, bghill and I must have had the same exact version of the exam because question for question those are the exact ones I had as well. All the essay and short answers were the same ones I had. The 4 ways to choose a strategy I was totally unprepared for and failed that part miserably.

I think several people have been told that they are retiring the exam entirely.

Guys/Gals,
Use the specific exam feedback section or email through pm. Please do not post feedback like this...it's a sure fire way of getting that exam pulled for a policy violation. If they can figure out who you are who knows how this will land on your academic record. This was the reason we lost so many of the upper level exams years ago. Keep in mind this is a capstone exam and school reps tend to visit this forum, at least they used to.
Please be careful. There are still quite a few students who would like to take advantage of the exam before the option is retired, please don't ruin it for them.

Do we receive an e-mail with our final grade? Or do we have to continuously check online?

Check the grade report online, otherwise you'll get a paper grade report in the mail some weeks later. No email.

When I log in it shows the Term as May 2017. Am I correct that if I sign up for this exam I can take it anytime between: Start Date 01 May 2017 and End Date 23 July 2017? I really don't think I'll be prepared for it until end of June - but don't want to miss out. Also it is OK to take this before completing all the other BSBA (General Management) courses - I can work this somewhat backwards without issue, correct?
