I just got my results and I passed with a 71%. I would say this grade reflects exactly how I feel I did and is fairly graded. Also the results were VERY fast. I took it Monday night and got the results Thursday morning. Thank you also very much for your help. Now if only the federal income taxation one went that well, i have a bad feeling about getting those results

Congrats! I don't expect to take mine until July but I'm already terrified.

I registered (and paid for) for the Strategic Management TECEP this morning. What happens next? Do I get an email of some sort to confirm this (I do see it in my OSS Schedule)? Will I not be an enrolled student until after I take (& pass) this, it shows I am still just an applicant? I am registered for May - but having until end of July to take it - if they change the whole program in July before I complete it do I lose the current 2016/2017 catalog and move into the new 2017/2018 requirements? In other words is passing the exam prior to any changes required, or am I safe for the current catalog (May 2017) because I enrolled for it before any possible changes (ie July 2017).
I am going to commit to studying and preparing for the exam, and if (When!) I pass I will stick with the BSBA vs another option that works based on my transferred in credits - the TECEP $117 vs $1500 for the Capstone has defiantly been a factor in my degree choice.

You will show as enrolled shortly after the term starts in May. That will lock in your catalog. You will have the full term (12 weeks) to take the exam, you don't have to worry about that. If you fail the exam, then supposedly you're no longer enrolled. Nobody has ever reported exactly how that works, but I'm pretty certain you would not be able to retake the TECEP once you get past registration time for the June term. A couple of people plan to go ahead and register for the TECEP in the June term as well and take the test in May while there's still time to get the grade back and withdraw from the June term if they pass. Personally, that seems a bit extreme.

I was advised that you are considered enrolled as of the term you chose when signing up for the TECEP, so May. You should get some emails referring to your "purchase" and you MAY receive and email with detail about the testing structure - I didn't, I had to email them - I believe they removed them form the site since after June it will no longer be offered.
And no, your having registered for the effective TECEP secures your ability to take and complete the 16/17 test (but at the 17/18 cost). So as long as the test you take starts before August 23, 2017 you get all the perks of the 16/17 applicable advisement.
Cost/Value is always a deciding factor! You'll do great!

They say it takes 2 business days for the email.
You don't sound like you want a business degree, just something less expensive.
You could consider COSC. You do have to take a capstone, but they take many free FEMA credits (up to 27 I believe) and give credit for a subject GRE (18 credits for that one exam, if your score is good).

It's not that I don't want a business degree, it is just that my 90+ transferred in credits fit better - nearly ideal - into the BSAST in Technical Studies (I originally though Professional Studies could be a fit, Not) - but the missing UL credits and sciences are cost prohibitive (Oh, why did I take Biology and not Chemistry or Physics!). Career wise, the BSBA completely gets me to where I want to be now and for the graduate program I would like to pursue (MPA).
I also have a significant birthday this year and wanted to have a bachelor degree completed before it arrived, I've come to terms with getting it at "the age". COSC was my first choice when I started looking into my options, TESU simply has more straightforward This from There, comes in as This Here making not only affordable but easier to check off requirements and goals as met - at least once you have the real TESU transfer evaluation completed of all those B&M credits you've stock piled over the years.

Does anyone know if this page is accurate: http://www2.tesu.edu/syllabus/current/BU...S-421.html
It seems to say that if the TECEP is in your Area of Study then you need 70%+. Is that correct? All I've seen on here is that everyone seems to be striving for a 60.
Since it is a capstone cours then it definitely counts as your area of study right? Meaning 70% is what I would need to pass?

Your link is for the actual course, not the TECEP.
