I'm taking it near the end of May (last day of May Term is the 28th). I have approximately 2 hours per day Mon-Fri, and 8 hours per day Sat and Sun. This time will be split with one other class though.
Thanks!
Ideas Wrote:Most people said it's important to read the whole book and memorize every single list and definition.
I'm personally finding bricabrac's notes confusing because it's from a different edition textbook and there's different wording.
Some people only studied for 1 or 2 days, but most study between 3 days and 2 months. When are you taking it and how many hours do you have free?

Thank you!!!
bricabrac Wrote:My study notes complement the textbook. To answer your question, in my opinion, it would depend upon your experience/prior coursework:
- If you've worked in new products/business development, marketing, or management for years, you could probably skip many areas of the book and go straight to the notes for the bullet points. You would be able to write your essays from practical experience vs theory/case study.
- If you've had no prior work experience or exposure to key areas, use the text as your knowledge base. Dig into the topics listed on the test description sheet for guidance.
Hope this helps!

I recommend using the 17th or 18th Ed, but the 16th Ed will work as well.

Do NOT Rent the 20th edition off of Amazon, I am having the worst time locating correct "lists" I think they are going away from them in terms of teaching, they present them in a different format now. I wish I could explain better but I cannot right now.

Do you think someone just starting out with trying to test out can pass this test? I just started straighterline finished sociology working on 4 accounting classes now and the micro and macro economics. I have a few business classes done but we're done a few years back. My biggest worry is the money difference between the TECEP and the actual course.

Can anyone vouch for the 19the edition I rented it off Amazon and I'm about half way through the first half, holy crap it's hard to memorize something that I find tedious and boring Should I really be reading this book word for word? Or is there a way to streamline it a bit?

Same problem here. I wasted time because of this. Now I'm switching to an older edition.

Can someone with edition 16-18 please PM me as soon as they see this. I need a little bit of help in a topic or two and would really like to know what your version says. It is about corporate culture, 2 primary factors and 6 ways to foster it. I am not finding anything in my book they says anything about primary factors or ways to foster it. I have smaller questions after that if you can, but please please PM me. I take this TECEP on Sunday.
