Txs for that advice, I'm grueling through an EDU course right now, ever since I got a taste of the 300/400 HIS/POS courses everything else feels so much more taxing lolz. I much prefer spitting out a quick essay.

If do well on the quizzes (easy 100 points) and on the lab (should be another easy 100 points) then you can completely fail the exam as long as you get at least an 11% and you'll still pass the class. This is super helpful when you're someone who knows the material but who doesn't do well with exams. If you do manage to fail the exam then you are allowed to retake it again 2x. You do not start everything over. You just redo the exam. I think you have to wait 3 days between retakes and a month of SDC includes 2 exams. This can be the same exam twice (in case of failure) or 2 different courses.

Generally, I would recommend doing the Study.com/Sophia.org courses before starting UMPI, as you want to make sure everything transfers over, and because these are monthly memberships. I would recommend trying your best on the final and see where it leads you, if you do happen to pass it - great job! Otherwise, review the work you've done in the quizzes and any areas that you find a little confusing, there are practice tests to each Study.com set of lessons and also a practice final.

Certs: 6Sigma/Lean/Scrum, ITIL | Cisco/CompTIA/MTA | Coursera/Edx/Udacity

I initially thought I only had 14 classes in total to complete with UMPI but it seems it'll be closer to 21. I'm hoping to knock out the remaining 11 this session but with work it may bleed into the next session. I'm also seriously considering switching from a BLS in EDU to a BBA in History but I'm not sure what the process for that is like, anyone done anything similar? Oh and was there ever any clarification on whether any Coursera courses would be accepted in place of BIO 105? Good luck to everyone for this session!

Great job! By switching from the BLS to the BA in History, you're going to have to take a lot of classes. You will have to do all of the classes for the major. Do you already have a number of the history requirements completed including the full year of a foreign language? It sounds like you're trying to finish quickly. I would probably stay where I am. Coursera classes aren't ACE credit. There's a biology class on Study.com you can take and transfer to UMPI.

But I am signed up for both session 1 and 2. I'm KIND of looking at doing the MAOL, but have no clue what I'd do with it lol.

What degree are you referring to as a BAS?

Bachelors of Applied Science with a minor in Management
Pierpont AAS BOG - Graduated 5/7/21
UMPI BAS minor in management- Graduated 6/1/2021
WGU MSML- Starting 7/1/21

As long as you do really well on the labs and quizzes your minimum to pass the final can be low. I think I only needed a 30% to pass the final. I took advantage of the subscription and took Human Resources with SDC to transfer in with BIO. Both were approved at UMPI. I probably took a week to complete both.

What program are you in? Just curious since there isn't a BAS in the YourPace program.

actually, there is! I'm currently doing yourpace. You have to have an associates in applied science to be eligible for the program. Thanks to this forum I was able to get my AAS through pierpont!

Sounds right to me. Applied Science is considered "university wide" so I don't see why you can't fulfill it with YourPace. If Jessica approved it all power to you \o/

Just got approval to take BIO at SDC after hearing how long it will take at UMPI. I will probably start Study next week
