Olivet YourWay, How to get RA Credits

I think it was mentioned that she's an international student, and BS vs BA actually does make a difference there.

TEL Learning - $200 per course. Each course has 2 proctored exams + assignments.
ASU Universal Learner - $25 to take a course for credit, plus $400 per course transcription fee if you like your grade.
TECEP exams - $50/credit for LL exams, $75/credit for UL exams.
Outlier.org - $400/course. Some students have reported difficulties getting these credits accepted.

Local community colleges can be more affordable, or they might actually cost more. Check https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sources_of_Credit for other suggestions.
I am curious to know why XAMK is not usually recommended?

I think because generally, people are looking to take GE's, and XAMK doesn't have those - they're mostly electives.  So for someone getting a BSBA, where there are only 15cr of Free Electives available, XAMK will be fine for those, but not much else.

I'm a bit confused on the question. XAMK is foreign credit that is hard to get evaluated, it may not come in as RA equivalent for each and every institution or foreign credit evaluation agencies. It's really not RA until these credential evaluations come in properly, this goes for all the cheapo/inexpensive foreign credit as some Finnish universities' courses won't get evaluated unless it comes from just 1 evaluation agency. It's safer to take community college courses, TEL, or TECEPS for those going for RA credit.

XAMK works for TESU and for some degrees, but it doesn't always work for all degrees. And it won't work with most schools.

For the first problem, there are other Finnish universities that may have classes that are more applicable to other degrees. For the second, students really need to be getting a TESU degree.
