The reason why this is a course someone might need/want is because it is a 200 level science course.
CLEP BIO is 100 level. DSST Env and Humanity is 200 level, this is 200 level, and Straighterline A&P is 200 level.
BSBA CIS from TESC, BA Natural Science/Math from TESC
MBA Applied Computer Science from NCU Enrolled at NCU in the PhD Applied Computer Science
Sorry to bring back a thread from the dead. The topic was pertinent to my question and thought I would reuse the same thread instead of creating a new one.
It looks like I still need 3 more credits and this TECEP is what I need to take to complete the UL credit requirement. Has anybody given this exam recently? I thought TECEPs typically have the format of multiple-choice and 3 short essays. The TESC test description for this one states that it is multiple-choice questions only. Hopefully they dont change it on the fly. Also, is the textbook that TESC suggests good enough to prepare for this exam? Any info on exam difficulty, etc would be much appreciated,

Just took this test, passed with a 76. Studied for a couple hours last night and this morning. I used one of the recommended texts to review the TECEP study guide topics, and reviewed topics from Cookderosa's post. Her post is still relevant in regards to what is being tested on. I have some experience and a general interest in nutrition, so I just needed to brush up on a few topics. Good luck to anyone who takes it!
