Newbie question/Where to send test scores?
#1
Hello,

I'm very new to this site so, if I'm doing something incorrectly, I apologize in advance. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out where to send my scores after taking exams? I haven't taken any tests yet but I figured I would start with modern states since they pay for your exams. The problem is that I am not registered with any school and did not want to register until I have enough credits to finish in one semester.

I see in other posts that people use a code for their school at the testing center so their scores are sent to the correct location, but if I am not registered at a school what am I supposed to do? I don't want to study everything and show up to my testing center just to realize I do not have a place to send my scores.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's OK if you don't have a school to send the scores to. You will just have to pay a fee to send a transcript of your scores later. If you know what school you plan to go to, it can't hurt to let the scores be sent there, but they may well discard them if you don't apply fairly soon after they receive them.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

That's a relief Smile Thank you so much for your response. I feel much better now.
