TEEX Cyber Courses
#1
What is the recommended way to transfer the TEEX cyber courses to ACE? If I complete all of them, do I transfer them as individual i.e., AWR 168, AWR 174 and AWR 175 or as CYB 101 (168, 174 and 175 combined make the CYB 101)
AWR 168= 2 credits
AWR 174= 2 credits
AWR 175= 1 credit
These 3 combined equate to the CYB 101 which comes as 4 credits.

Same concept will be applied the remaining AWR courses

I don't think you need an ethics course, so do it all and combine it to CYB 101. Otherwise, if you need an ethics course, do it one by one. See below, I copy/paste from a previous post from dfrecore - it should still be valid.

Thanks for the breakdown. The inquiry is on my wife's behalf. She needs an ethics class and per your suggestion on a different post, she will do the free ethics class at the institutes. How many credits is the free ethics class worth? Because AWR 174 individually is only 2 and she will need 1 more cr.

The institutes free ethics: format, length, exams, proctored????

Are these two courses the same?
312N Ethical Guidelines for CPCUs (this is the one I found in the Institutes site)
312N-H Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct

Hello there... The Free ethics is 3 credits now.  The courses you listed are not the same.
Review this thread, I just replied to you there: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid304801

So I clicked on your link and the same this is what comes up. see picture

All I see is: 312N Ethical Guidelines for CPCUs — (No CE Credit) (OL)

I don't see: 312N-H Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct

So I called the Institutes and was told that 312N-H Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct was replaced last year with 312N Ethical Guidelines for CPCUs

I'm not sure if i was given accurate information.

Has anyone here taken 312N-H Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct recently?

Search for Ethics 312 as the course/examination number. Note it is recommended for 3 credit hours by ACE, which is what most colleges follow in regards to credit.

yes. took it in Dec, 2019 (3 months ago) and it's on the ACE transcript for 3 credits. don't worry on the "N-H" part. I don't think that was there when I did the course either. You want the Free one in the links given. The one with "no CE" (as in no Continuing Education credit) is the one for college credit through ACE.
