Yes, you are understanding correctly! Unless you have already gotten credit for Cyber 301, which this class is included in. You can either get credit for the individual classes or the group of classes(Cyber 101,201,301) but not both.

I'm going to test this with my son. He did the 3 Cybers over 4 years ago. Under the new ACE eval, I'm going to have him do 1 and submit for credit to ACE- see what happens.

Though I would NEVER torture him in this way, it would be nicer to get rid of the old 2 cr classes and replace with the newer series for 10-11 credits.

Will TESU replace my old TEEX credits with new ones if I completed these courses again now? Bcos I might do them again, in that case. In September 2018, I had to overload myself and complete it all in a week, as the courses were expiring. Now, I can even try and complete them over a month.

Will TESU take TEEX courses directly?  I don't know the answer, however, my guess would be no, they probably will not.  Then the question becomes: if you re-take, will ACE's database allow you to add duplicate courses?  If yes, will TEEX subsequently approved them?

I need 1 CS Credit(it does not have to be UL). I already took TEEX Cyber 101, 201, & 301 last year. Is there anything here that could fulfill that 1 CS credit without duplicating? If so I will run it by TESU to confirm. I probably won't get a response today with the holiday but I will report back what they say.

I was wondering about this, when I saw they were now offering more credit.  I wonder if you already took them, if you could have ACE take them off of your transcript and retake them for more credit?

That was just me wondering out loud.  My son is taking them now but I don't need them.

Great question.  I just looked at "My Courses" on my Ace transcript.  I don't see a way to delete courses from my transcript once they have been approved, but perhaps ACE tech support would remove old courses, especially since these are technical courses and the age of technical courses is important.

Wouldn't this be similar to retaking a CLEP exam, scoring higher the 2nd time around, and wanting to put that on ACE (assuming that you went to a school that gave more credit for a higher score like Spanish)?  And yes, I know most schools take CLEP directly, but you might still want to put it on your ACE transcript.
