Hello,
My brother would rather go to TESU instead of going to WGU. Anyways, I told him it would be a good idea to start off with some free classes. He will go for his associates degree first (ASNSM CS) and then later for a bachelors. He will probably go for BSBA or a BACS or maybe even both.
Does anyone know what TEEX currently transfers in as (I am talking about the free cybersecurity classes). If they have any other free classes that will transfer then great! I took them awhile back and they came in as CS electives. I am just wanting to get an update for my brother. Thanks!

I think I've read on another thread that for the new catalog year (2019A-2020), TESU don't accept the TEEX courses for Computer Science electives. I am on the 2018 catalog. I completed all of the TEEX courses recently and added on my transcript individually. Waiting for 1 of the course to be approved by ACE but it looks like it will be pending until after the holidays. I sent an email to my academic advisor that I've completed all of the courses and it reflected already on my academic evaluation as *PTE *PL. Email the Academic Advising and ask just to make sure.

I am in the 2019A catalog and confirmed with my advisor a couple of weeks ago that the TEEX courses planned for my ASNSM in CS is still valid.

My brother will be coming in on a 2020 catalog. I'm going to email TESU on his behalf and ask.

I'm not positive, however, I believe they work for the ASNSM CS but not the BACS. If I recall correctly they just fell into the free electives category of BACS.
