I have decided to get a BSBA CIS. I am looking at the courses, and I'm confused about the electives, and what qualifies for what category. The first section, "General Education Requirements", has electives for each subsection. I think those electives make sense. Just get ones from the respective sections on this page:
General Education Courses. I am assuming the 18 General Education Elective credits would come from the same page. Is that right? In the "Professional Business Requirements" section, the CIS electives are listed, so thats easy. What qualifies as a Business Elective though? Free Elective?
Thanks

Free electives are any college level credits that TESC will accept. To get a good idea of what is considered a business elective, take a look at the general management degree
here. Anything that would count as an area of study in the general management degree would count as a business elective. This includes additional CIS courses if that is what you prefer.

Hi there psrearick. Welcome to the forum! Here's what I was told by an academic advisor today. Any of the classes on this page that are NOT being used in your Core or in your Area of Study for BSBA CIS can be used as Business Electives.
