TESC Math/Natural Sciences Requirement
#11
"Must include at least two subject areas
D. Natural Sciences and Mathematics 12
One college-level mathematics course required (3)
One computer science course required (3)
Other natural sciences/mathematics (6) "

Danger! Check with TESC to see about the math and computer science courses. I thought that I could use CLEP's College mathmatics and Intro to Computers. Ends up, the were good for the "other nat science/mathmatics, but DID NOT QUALIFY for the requirements of "College-level math" or the Computer science course. I went through a detailed process and was able to verify that i could take CLEP College Algebra or DSST Fundamentals of Algebra for the math course( OR precalc:puke: ) and for the computer science only the DSST 300 level MIS course would do.

I am going for a degree in science/math at TESC, they used my ALEKS Begining Algebra, college Algebra and Trig as my math courses and the CLEP Info Systems and computer Apps. as my computer course. There is one advisor there who wants everyone to do harder courses talks like she is the boss and doesn't know her a$$ from her elbow.

I would get a higher opinion if I were you.

Just curious. Why didn't you do the PreCalc via ALEKS? Is Trig easier?
