TESC Question
#1
Does anyone know how TESC handles requirements that fall short on credits. For instance, there is a Managerial Communication requirement for the BSBA that is 3 credits. What would they do in a situation where someone has only 2 credits in Managerial Communication?

You'll get the 2 and then show a deficiency of 1, which you'll have to meet or exceed.

I was in this exact situation for my evaluation. The advisor just waived the 3 credit requirement and annotated on the evalutation that I only needed 2 credits in that subject instead of 3. The overall credits needed for the degree however did not change, so Cookderosa is correct in that you will still have to make that credit up with something else...

I received two credits in Man Comm from Airman Leadership School. TESC accepted the two credits and waived the extra one credit. That extra credit was filled by elective.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

That is the exact answer to my question without having to ask it. Thanks Prloko. I was hoping I would get something out of Leadership School. God knows it didn't make me a good supervisor as a SrA.

Prloko,

Do you have LMM-1101 Leadership and Management I (from leadership school) on your CCAF transcript? If so, how did TESC transfer the credits?

Thanks

LMM-1101 transcribed as HRM-315 Leadership. I also received 2 credits for LMM1103 which transcribed as MSC-101 military science. I pasted an excerpt below on how my CCAF credits tranferred for anyone curious.

Thank you. I am going to add them to my spreadsheet in case the question comes up again.

It will be interesting to see what they do with my 11 credits of sales fundamentals from recruiting school.

I wouldn't be surprised if you have enough to get a BSBA in HR. with the leadership and recruiting credit. or even a BSBA in marketing if your credits are in sales.
