I was enrolled in COSC and I am considering changing to TESU. I had been planning to take an ACTFL French exam for my Global Gen Ed requirement and Nutrition from Rio Saldo for the science with lab. Has anybody used these classes for credit at TESU?

Those courses are recommended courses as they're transferrable to TESU and many people have done it in the past. You may want to check ACTFL on the ACE registry and verify expiration date or renewal just to make sure your exam is within those dates.
BTW, Rio is a community college, it's RA and transferable without the need of ACE, which science - Chem or Physics?

TESU will take ACTFL for any language, and they don't require a lab for your science.

So language always counts towards global in the Gen Ed credits. I have enough credits but not requirements. I have a degree from Canada that is comprised of mostly 300/400 level courses. I would rather do a French test than a class.

So TESU doesn't have "global" as a requirement - although they have "diversity." Not sure if they take a language course for that. But if you're fluent, then if you do well on the ACTFL, it's more UL credits.
What degree do you want to get?

What did you get your degree in when you were in Canada? What degree are you looking into and which school? If it gets evaluated, you should have all the Gen Eds and 30 credits done, generally you would just need the AOS if you're picking one of the Big 3.

I have a BA in Economics from University of Toronto. I want to teach and because I went to school in Quebec first they are not counting Cegep as University although U of T did. Very annoying. I can't even sub with it here. When you do the cross over from WES and the others they have it as a 3 year degree with extra credits. I looked at dong a MEd and they said I would have to do the Gen Ed requirement as a pre req so I figured I would just get another degree. I have more than enough UL courses. I am missing some Gen Ed and a cornerstone and capstone.
I was trying to figure out if TESU used language as diversity or not.
