PSY 106: Abnormal Psychology
PSY 306: Advanced Abnormal Psychology
PSY 316: Advanced Social Psychology
You take those courses to study for the recommended TECEP and UExcel exams. The study.com courses don't transfer in as UL, you need the UL credits. I passed the TECEP in Abnormal Psychology in February.

I'm taking Psychology courses and exams through Coopersmith right now, I had bought all the textbooks back in January

Oh it makes sense now. Is using study.com material and quizzes enough to pass the UExcel exams for the mentioned courses?

Yes, thus far everyone has been reporting over the years that the Study.com courses prep you well for the TECEP and UExcel exams.

Great. One more question, please. Will UExcel Social psychology (UL) overlap with SDC’a social psychology (LL)?

You *need* 6 credits total in Social Psychology for TESU BA.PSYCH, and that set of UExcel and SDC should get you total of the 6 credits.

I have no idea if you can get a Pearson Vue appt to take the UExcel exam right now though. That concern is why I'm taking a Social Psychology course via Coopersmith and ProctorU next for my Psychology degree.

I don’t know why I assumed that Uexcel’s exams were online. It’s a good thing that I asked. Is social psychology at Coopersmith considered UL?

Yes Coopersmith social psych is lower level and transfers in as PSY-237.

For the BA, I recall TESU only requires 15 UL credits in an AOS (Psychology in this case) and the Capstone to make 18. They need 6 credits in Social Psychology, you can take two Study.com Social Psychology courses and get TESU to pre-approve this in your academic evaluation.

Study.com Psychology 104: Social Psychology > TESU PSY-237 Intro to Social Psychology I
Study.com Psychology 316: Advanced Social Psychology > PSY-245 Social Psychology
Once you get approval, you can then find UL alternatives from Coopersmith/Study.com to finish the rest of the requirements. The first step is to have yourself a degree plan created and see what alternatives there are needed.

So, copy/paste what you think your courses can be, or follow the guide by jsd in the wiki, he's got a plan up already. Get TESU to approve most of those courses if not all, then tell us what is remaining or can't be done and we'll provide you options if possible.

Just a couple of things to keep in mind as you plan and issues that I ran into with it:

Coopersmith's Foundations of Stress Management (PSY-310) transfers in as SOS-320 and does not apply to AOS electives. Even though this is a Psychology course at Coopersmith, it is not considered one at Thomas Edison.

Coopersmith - Child Development (PSY-230) - will transfer in as PSY-213, but this cannot satisfy the Developmental requirement. The Developmental requirement course covers the developmental process from birth through old age. Coopersmith's Child Development can only satisfy a Psychology elective. (I opted for Study.com's Psy 103: Human Growth and Development and that was accepted.)

HTH!
