TESU BACS v.s. SNHU BSCS
#21
Quote:Much easier for you to give us a list of courses you want to take and we can give you info on those.
Quote:The short answer is yes. Longer answer is: what courses are you trying to transfer in that TESU doesn't have listed?

Two courses that I've seen mentioned as prerequisites of MSCS programs but aren't in TESU's curriculum:
  • Probability
  • Theory of computation
I wonder if TESU will accept them for AOS

Probability (TESU has STA-201) would go in Electives, either Gen. Ed. or Free.

I'd expect that theory of computation would be fine.

Even if they don't go into the AOS, just having them on your transcript should be sufficient. At least some of the schools would be fine with you completing a TESU degree without either course and then picking them up at another school after graduation. They (usually) just want to see that you completed the course(s), not that you specifically took them for your degree.

@npvn2, for your BA CS/Math combo, you have specific requirements for each degree, AOS electives, free electives. If you tweak your degree to have courses in either Computer Science or Computer Info Systems, it should work fine. Here is a possible example course that should come in properly: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid361622
