CLEP may be the quickest/easiest but Sophia can also be an option. You just have to wait a bit to get the papers graded there so things may stretch out over a month or even two months doing both courses.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning. Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Hey, I got your PM, instead of replying to your PM I noticed this thread with the exact same question... I would recommend Sophia.org for English I and II since it's FREE and also their College Algebra or Stats course as well. But if you had to pay for an easier math course, either $20 for College Algebra at ALEKS or $39 at CSM Learn for Quantitative Analysis.

Anyone know if there's a difference between Sophia's College Algebra compared to the one from ALEKS?

It depends; if you're planning on taking higher math classes, ALEKS will prepare you better. If you just want to check the box of quantitative literacy, Sophia will work and should be faster. There are a few typos as you go through the class but they're pretty easy to deal with. Take notes and practice with the formulas and you'll do okay. |
