TESU BALS, is the emphasis written on the transcript?
#11
(Edited) So it's probably listed, from tesu:

" The transcript will state, Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, and list I believe under the title of the degree Computer Science. "
WGU MS ITM, 2021.
TESU BACS, 2020.
TESU BSBA, 2018.
TESU ASNSM in Computer Science, 2018.

You write that like it's bad news. So they DO list the concentration on the transcript.

How close are you to graduating because it can always change. In September of last year my transcript read this way...
Degree Awarded: Bachelor of Arts
Area of Study: Liberal Studies
Date Conferred: 09/2017
Concentration: Social Sciences
I assume it is still the same.
MTS             Nations University - September 2018
BA.LS.SS     Thomas Edison State University -September 2017

If this is what it says, I don't think it's unethical to structure your resume using their exact same wording but leaving out the AOS.

Degree: Bachelor of Arts
Concentration: Social Sciences

It looks like it cuts off and doesn't show your concentration. I assume if you had one it would list it under, same as mine?

Sorry that it was unclear.

Here is another clip:

thinking about it some more, I don't remember them offering to me a specific concentration. I had three areas of emphasis, but that was self-directed.

... maybe I was thinking of a minor. I'm unsure now. Sorry I'm not of much use...

High_Order, you didn't specify a concentration, yours is basically the BALS option A (no concentration)
FYI, I just noticed that for option A, you only need 15 UL credit, for option B, you need 18.

Link: https://www.tesu.edu/heavin/ba/liberal-studies
II. Area of Study: Liberal Studies
Students select option A or B
A. Students complete a total of 30 credits of Liberal Studies courses that include at least 15 credits at the 300/400 level and no more than 6 credits at the 100 level.
B. Students select an 18-credit concentration from the list below and complete an additional 12 credits of Liberal Studies courses.

I assume it is still the same.

That's how it should play out and display as - if you choose a Computer Science or another Concentration.
For me, I am hoping my BALS NSM will show as this, to show my progression from ASNSM to BALS NSM.

Degree Awarded: Bachelor of Arts
Area of Study: Liberal Studies
Concentration: Natural Science & Math
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)

AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I

Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki
