@bjcheung77 The BSBA-Accounting was where this started, However the OP got word just the other day from TESU after the final and official evaluation was completed that they timed out many of his foreign accounting credits (I'm as surprised as you are; I'm assuning it has more to due with something related to them being foreign evaluation credits than old US/RA accounting credits). Seriously a shame as the AOS would be pretty much complete had they been able to be used, but it happens (esp with all the changes TESU has had this past year).  Here is that post from this thread as it seems you missed it: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid299280

Would an appeal be worth trying? Would EC / COSC likely accept the old credits / result in less credits remaining?

For sake of "what if" I just did an online evaluation and the results are:
Semester Hours (SH) Required: 120.00
SH Applied to Degree: 55.00
SH Remaining: 65.00

And therefore assuming that a manual review will cause some shifting around, still, 65 is the lowest that I could get. Now, going by that number, and considering subjects that I will have to knock out (I feel they will need more time and attention and number crunching) :

A:ACC-201 Intermediate Accounting I
B: ACC-202 Intermediate Accounting II
C: ACC-401 Advanced Accounting I
D: ACC-402 Advanced Accounting II
F: ACC-421 Federal Income Taxation

And then doing a pulse check of above and considering what @davewill mentioned in a previous post about the increase in SH, I think playing it with BSBA Gen Mgmt with courses that have less to do with numbers will make a comfortable path, given my full time work and stuff at home.

Good point though about doing a "what if" check.

Hi everybody,

Checking whether you all have any advice and recommendation on finding an alternate or where to find:
BSBA General Mgmt. under CIV & GLOBAL LDRSHP

-For Diversity Intercultural Literacy I think the easiest for me will be
a. MAN-372: International Management (cannot find similar course elsewhere)

-For Ethical Leadership
b. I found two ethics course upon searching The Institutes course. Will any one of the below fulfill the ethics requirement?
-Ethical Guidelines for CPCU https://www.theinstitutes.org/guide/ethi...ines-cpcus
-Ethical Decision Making in Risk and Insurance https://www.theinstitutes.org/guide/ethi...-insurance
I recall @Allvia mentioned
- Institutes Ethics course to meet your B: Ethical Leadership. Not sure which one.

c. For Civic Engagement
-GLB-301 Global Issues and Society (cannot find similar offering elsewhere)

- TEEX credits https://teex.org/Pages/Program.aspx?catID=607 (free) can be used to meet the D: Understanding the Physical and Natural World.
I found that one has to complete
-Cyber 101
-Cyber 201
-Cyber 301
Will that cover me for all of D: Understanding the Physical and Natural World?

Thanks in advance

Hi, thanks for the response.
TESU requirement = 3 credit
The Institutes = 2 credit. Is that correct. So, I will still have to fulfill the deficient 1 credit with some other course?

It's 3 lower level credits now instead of 2 upper lvl credits.

 a. MAN-372: International Management (cannot find similar course elsewhere)

StraighterLine:  Cultural Anthropology - You can finish this in a day or two!  (Open book final - proctored exam)
You can take an alternative, but for the ease/speed, it trumps anything else for the slightly more expensive cost.

-For Ethical Leadership

The Institutes Ethics 312 (FREE, not the $5 CE Continuing Education) - Can finish in a couple of hours - FREE!

 c. For Civic Engagement
-GLB-301 Global Issues and Society (cannot find similar offering elsewhere)

StraighterLine:  American Government - You can also finish this in a day or two! (Closed book final - proctored exam)

You're a bit too late, they changed the evaluations for TEEX, even though you get more credits - it's all Cyber Security - CYB courses. Anyways, these can go into your FREE electives though, you have 6 FREE electives to use these credits in.

StraighterLine:  Intro to Environmental Science - You can finish in a day or two! (Open book final - proctored exam)
StraighterLine:  Intro to Nutrition - You can also finish this in a day or two as well (Closed book final for the exam)

Actually, for the Sciences, you should take them from Onlinedegree.com as it's only $9 or at Saylor.org for $25, if you can handle their material.  Onlinedegree.com has the Astronomy and Earth Science or Biology courses.  Saylor has a few sciences too!

Thanks in advance

Could you list the remaining courses you need?  And also list your AOS course remaining and you have completed so we don't recommend the courses that duplicate what you have completed?  You can also add the "other courses" in your evaluation, just in case it can be moved to another area.  This way, we can provide you a quick run down on what can be taken for what you're missing.  For example, see this:  I have entered in the info in RED and BOLD.

Note: I still highly recommend you going full blast with the courses within the Beginners Guide Post #28/#31, all the courses are listed there as they are the easiest/fastest, and very affordable (not cheapest, saylor and onlinedegree.com will be cheaper - I suggest onlinedegree.com over Saylor courses if cost is an issue). There are only 2 changes to the template, the Cornerstone is required at TESU, the other Math course you need can be done by CSMLearn at $39.

It's my understanding that if you do Cybersecurity for Business Professionals (Cyber 301) and bring it in as a whole, that it will come in as CIS-244, but if you bring each course in separately, then each of those is a CYB- course and won't work in the sciences area.  Maybe someone can offer more info on that.

Also, if you bring in the Cybersecurity for Everyone (Cyber 101) courses in separately, then TEEX-0278 Cyber Ethics (AWR174) comes in as ETH-230 and will meet your Ethics requirement for 2cr (you'll make up that other credit in the GE Electives area).

For Diversity, you can do Saylor's new GEOG101: World Regional Geography.

For Civic Engagement, there's Saylor's POLSC201: Intro to Western Political Thought or POLSC221: Intro to Comparative Politics.

There are lots of other options, but these are cheap.
