Do I have enough electives for 2016 TESU BSBA?
#1
Everything I have completed is in my signature below. The remaining courses and exams I will be taking will be to complete the Business Core and the AOS. I just need to confirm that I have earned enough credits for the gen ed electives and the free electives. Thank you everyone for your help Smile

It doesn't look like you have an Ethics course, which is required.

If AP English Language & Composition counts as 6cr, then your English requirement is done. If not, then you have to take English Comp II. But I think you're ok.

Saylor - Business Law & Ethics

Looks like that's covered (unless the BSBA requires a separate Ethics course that this fulfills, then it won't count for both)

EDIT: yeah, looks like Business Law is a separate BSBA requirement. You should tale the free 2 cr ethics course.

The BSBA requires Business Law + an Ethics course, so the Saylor's Business Law & Ethics course will go under Business Law and kalishakti will have to do another course to fulfill the Ethics requirement.

@kalishakti: StraighterLine's Business Ethics can fulfill the Ethics requirement (3 credits) OR The Institute's Ethics And The CPCU Code Of Professional Conduct (FREE) (2 credits--TESU is currently granting an exception for this and your 1 missing credit will be moved down to general education electives).

I will be taking the DSST Business Ethics and Society to fulfill the BSBA Business in Society requirement, will it also cover the Ethics requirement?

That's a 3 credit DSST, so if you're using it for the Business in Society requirement, you can only use it in that one spot. You'll need to find another alternative for the Ethics requirement.

Don't sweat it though, you can finish the free proctored 2cr class very quickly.

Preserve the trust on which insurance transactions are based with an understanding of ethics

Take the free one (not the $5 one), skip the course and just take the exam. You can take it as many times as you need to, once you score 70% you are done. Send it to ACE.
