Business capstone midterm
#11
My son was in the same BUS-421-OL class as posabsolute and, I think, TacticalTechie.  He studied hard for the midterm.  He studied the midterm study guide, sample midterm from the Moodle, made his own paper & pen notecards from the concepts in the book, and reviewed posabsolute's quizlet.  He also practiced typing out the answers to anything that could be perceived as an essay question.  He scored 100 on the BUS-421 midterm.

Added advice:  get ahead on your case studies and discussion forum posts because the final project sneaks up on you pretty quickly.  My son stayed 2 or more weeks ahead on the case studies.  Sometimes he would have 2 case studies ready to submit, but held them until closer to the deadline.

I am happy to say that my son is now DONE with the BSBA GM.  Whew!  Overall, a positive experience.
I came to this forum researching for my now 17-yr-old son who was earning credits via testing and online courses. He completed TESU's BUS-421 in March 2018, the capstone for the TESU BSBA GM degree.  Below are the courses he took:
Study.com: Business 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 109, 113, 121, 308, 309; Economics 101, 102; Finance 101, 102; History 103, 104, 106, 108; Math 103; Political Science 102; Religion 101; Geology 101; Nutrition 101; Chemistry 101; English 305
SL: Intro to Communications, Accounting 1&2, Financial Accounting
ALEKS: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, PreCalculus, Statistics
TEEX: Cybersecurity 101, 102, 103
Sophia: Developing Effective Teams

Is the midterm all essay questions, or is it part multiple choice?

Its 10 multiple choice questions plus 4 essay questions. I believe the multiple-choice questions are worth 2% each, so you want to focus on the essay questions (which represent like 20% per question).
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

Complete:
MBA (IT Management), 2019, Western Governors University
BSBA (Computer Information Systems), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
ASNSM (Computer Science), 2019, Thomas Edison State University

There are 10 multiple choice questions worth 20% and 4 essay questions worth 80%. I took this midterm about a month ago. My proctor allowed one sheet of blank scratch paper to write notes on. I studied the material mentioned on this post and was able to score an 86. I missed 3 on the multiple choice questions.

Thanks for the confirmation. Each multiple-choice question is worth 2% (for a total of 20%) and each essay question is worth 20% (for a total of 80%).
