I've been the opposite. It's all the stuff that I would have known when I graduated high school that's been dragging me down and frustrating me. I write good englishes - I've even made money at it. You wouldn't know it by my grades!

And Aleks - oh dear. I took a month off after that.

So, I kind of feel like eeyore on here. For every three people that say ' oh yeah, easy credit ' I am that guy who has struggled, and when I tell people, hey, not in my experience, I feel like I may be discouraging people.

And I don't want to do that.

I do a ton of online training and butt-in-seat classes every year, so I thought that prepared me, and it didn't.

That's also why I try to be detailed in my reviews. Telling me there's six tests doesn't really help. Can I pass from reading the slides? Or do I have to listen to the narration? OR, is it from the book? Maybe I don't even need the book (it's happened).

I don't know your kid, but I'm proud of them for not quitting when it stopped being fun. I would tell you to assure them it gets better, but it may not (it certainly hasn't for me). The silver lining is that it won't be forever, and I am doing in two years (coming up on the first year anniversary soon!!) what many take five or six.
