So would there be an advantage to Saylor over Clep? With Modern States, Clep is $25 cheaper too.

The advantage for me was that I could take the Saylor exam from the comfort of my home without having to go through the hassle of registering for a CLEP. For almost everything else I could CLEP out of, I did, but I was feeling particularly lazy when I did the Saylor Calculus exam so just paid the $25 to have the exam over with.

That's a pretty big one, especially if you live out of the country, or far from a CLEP testing center, or even if it's just inconvenient to go to one. I was a SAHM of 2 young kids when I took my CLEP exams - if I could have done exams from home, after they went to bed, for only $25, I'd have been over the moon.
