I am not sure what will happen to people like me who will get their degrees this year (2015 catalog)

This is foreign to me what this means?

It means that TESU has the second best programmatic accreditation for business programs. AACSB is impossible for non-traditional schools to get, so this is the best we could hope for. In reality, it doesn't mean much. I've seen a few federal government jobs that require ACBSP or AACSB accreditation. In some states, you will automatically meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam as opposed to having to meet the requirements course by course. I don't know if this is still the case, but APUS has prerequisites you have to meet for their MBA program. If you graduated from a program accredited by ACBSP or AACSB, you won't have prerequisites.

In my opinion, this makes TESU more attractive for the BSBA. COSC doesn't have business accreditation, and I don't know if they'll ever pursue it. Excelsior's business programs are accredited by the lesser-known and lesser-valued IACBE. Maybe IACBE will gain some recognition in the future; it just became a recognized accreditor a couple of years ago.

Anything that adds (though it's not needed) more legitimacy to the Big 3 is a great thing.

So for us graduating in September will we have this "ACBSP" added to our degree's? No sure if this is going to chance anything for me or not but anything that makes my degree even better is always welcomed.

That's right. I think even the classes graduating March 2017 will be included as well... Don't quote me on that.

My transcript doesn't say a catalog year so, as far as I'm concerned, I'm graduating with a BSBA from an ACBSP-accredited business school.
