There is no chance TESU will waive the 24 brand new credits. You can retake courses or exams to get to 24 new credits. You will have to stay on top of TESU to make sure they mark your new courses as NEW on the evaluation.

Is there a precedent on this forum of someone getting to take the same course a second time to have it count as new non-duplicated credit? I try and read every thread, and I've never even heard of this, but it's being encouraged with such confidence by several of you that I must have missed this in the past. I can't wrap my brain around TESU allowing this.

I suggested it but have no clue if it will work. I just threw it out there. Part of the problem is, there is no way to get 24cr without taking at least SOME of the courses over again. There are 18cr in the AOS, so at least 2 courses will have to be repeated in the Core. If they won't accept anything that is repeated, then there's no way to get the degree.
For the AOS, there are ways to get 6 new courses (18cr), so that's not an issue - but if you can get them to take them as repeats, that just makes it easier for you to do.

Huh, it is even worse than I thought. There aren't any courses offered in my technical field at TESU (fire service). I only have one course remaining in the AOS and that is the capstone. After some basic math I figured I actually have 174 semester hours, it's not like I'm even trying to create two degrees with the same credits. Maybe I'll check out COSC and Excelsior for the second degree.

There's a Technical Studies degree at COSC that you can graduate concurrently.
