TESU without high school diploma
#11
I didn't have to provide any HS proof to TESU last year, but I also didn't apply for aide.

Maybe just taking the GED exam would open up some options for you. Since you did so well on the Saylor tests, I think the GED will be no trouble. I know where I live it costs $7 to take.

I've never had to send my HS transcript to anywhere, ever. I don't have one that I know of...no hard copy on hand, I didn't keep a copy of my final report card when I graduated, and I haven't seen it since then (28 years).

Patten U asked for high school transcripts as proof of graduation, then after I sent it they told me it was unnecessary.

That's the only time I ever even thought about my hs transcript, for just a fluke bit of bad advice from Patten. Luckily it was easy enough, my old HS was on parchment.com and it only cost like $5 and took a day or two.

I doubt I'll ever need them again in my life.

If you do well on the new GED, you can get up to 10 hours of college credit.
Your local adult education center (check your school district's website) should be able to help you if you choose to go this route.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
83 hours of ACE-worthy credits

I didn't know that about new GED, that is great news. You might have people with high school diplomas trying to take it lol...

I just looked at that and was placing +180 of the online test from GED testing service. I just scheduled to take all 4 tests Tuesday/Wednesday. Maybe I get credit from that. I did not realize this was a possible route. Well worth it. Although, it may be duplicative credit from ACE courses I already took - maybe good for some electives.
