Quick question: Can I take the CLEP and DSST management/supervision tests and get 6 credits to fufill my CCAF requirement for LMMS?

I'm an Army guy, but I would double check to make sure the two exams aren't considered the same credit. I received credit for both (6 SH) through Excelsior. But take them both, they are free for you anyway. Big Grin

TESC don't consider them to be duplicate credit. I can't speak for CCAF though.

Heres how you check things like this

Go to:
1. AF Portal
2. Click on AFVEC-AF Virtual Ed Center link on left side
3. Click on My CCAF Progress Report link on the right side
4. New window will open and require your CAC/pin
5. With your progress report open click on the program title link
6. New window will open with your career fields degree requirements
7. Click the Exam Matrix link on the left
8. A pdf will open with a list of placement exams for your career field and that is where you will find the answer to your question

Well I passed both the CLEP & DSST and a coworker said his is fulfilled with it. I can't check mine yet (.mil access only) but last time neither of them were showing yet.

My CCAF LMMS requirements were met by CLEP Principles of Management and DSST Principles of Supervision.

Alternatively, ALS counts as well.
19 DSST attempted - 54 credits awarded (1 unsuccessful)
11 CLEP attempted - 24 credits awarded (5 unsuccessful)
1 ECE attempted - 3 credits

CCAC AA
CCAF AAS
TESC BALS (Dec 2010 graduate)
