Anyone got MSIT in software engineering degree from TESU?
#1
Just want to see if anybody got MSIT in software engineering from TESU (I know it is expensive than WGU, but I need to select it for my personal case...).

My question is: I have checked the syllabus of most of the courses, it seems almost all the courses are evaluated by discussion forums, writing assignments, midterm/final projects, group projects, quiz...

I do not see mid/final exams being required by those courses. Am I right?

Please advise if you have prior experience with this program... Thanks!!

I don't think anyone here has done a Master's of any kind at TESU due to the cost involved. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

In regards to taking TESU courses at the graduate level, there are many that do because they have tuition assistance/reimbursement for their classes or they work for TESU.  There are no surprises, what shows in the syllabus is what you get, nothing less/more... Many employees who have such benefits continue on with a Masters from their a public/state school or head into some other school that interests them...

Not many people complete a Big 3 graduate program because of cost...  We generally recommend a quick CBE program or something that's cheaper.  TESU is not a well known school, it's just a public/state school, which should suffice for most people at the undergraduate level.  If work is paying for it, why not?  If you are paying out of pocket, read up on other options such as CBE programs...

Here's an example of a TESU alumni who has completed a TESU BSBA Operations Management, WGU MBA and now back at TESU for their DBA!  Furthermore, she's a member of this board... although she may not have visited the board for a while, she was a regular contributor...
