Actually if this was true it is not innocent; it is deliberately trying to get around a dispute/stop payment. I've gone though this before so know first hand that this is the way processors try to get around stop payments/charge backs. Since all transactions are now automated if I asked my bank to enter a charge back on $39.99 that is what they enter into the computer, so when two charges for 30.00 and 9.00 comes through it would not get flagged. The charges would post and then the bank would have to handle each charge back manually. They would then more than likely cancel your card and issue a new one while investigating the charges.

I have to admit that the pay page for instantcert is a little confusing. You have to login with a different ID and I had trouble canceling for a while as well. I think I paid an extra month due to my inability to remember my login to the pay site. Thats something the company can work on. I didn't mind paying for service I didn't use since I got a lot of value from instantcert. Not as much as REA, but enough to justify the nominal cost.

I hope Travis's problems get fixed and that he grows from this experience. It was a shock to see the multiple posts.

To me, that reads like he paid for one account, and was sharing it with multiple people. Probably a violation of the TOS, but I have never used the service. If it's not, would someone PM me their log in and "show me what it's about" too?
