Three official (USNY, Regents, Excelsior College) Graduation Diploma Covers with Logo
#1
Three official (USNY, Regents, Excelsior College) Graduation Diploma Covers with Logo:
USNY degree diploma cover (very dark Blue “almost black” with USNY State Logo)
Regents College degree diploma cover (Blue with Regent College Logo)
Excelsior College degree diploma cover (still waiting)

I have an original USNY degree diploma cover that came with my USNY BS degree.  I ordered a replacement in 2017 from Excelsior College (USNY AS Degree), and they have no more USNY degree covers. They had a few old Regents College diploma covers, so I paid $10 for one.  Soon I will receive an official Excelsior College degree diploma cover with a second BS degree.

I will post a picture soon when I get the last one and show all 3.

My Excelsior Associate Degree is dark purple with gold print outside. The interior is golden.

Mr. Bossman Jr.,

Very nice pics!

How long did it take to receive the degree diploma from conferral date?  Did it include a degree diploma cover?

I'm not actually quite sure. It came through the mail to my home address while I was away.

Oh my bad. The picture came out darker than I expected. It looks black in the picture, but it is actually dark purple. What did the old USNY degree look like (pictures?)? Furthermore, I wonder why they switched from blue to purple.

See attached very dark Blue USNY degree cover with State logo on it.

USNY very dark degree cover with State logo attached

The Regents College degree diploma cover is blue (lighter) with its own new logo.

See attached pdf file.  I am not sure how to paste?  When I scanned JPEG it was too large.

Thanks for the images. I like the name "The University of the State of New York". It sounds better than Excelsior College.

I agree!

The University of the State of New York name was the best and the reason I went to USNY over TESC which was my second choice back in the early 1980's.  I had read Dr. John Bear's books on non-traditional education back then and his reviews were the best.

Regents College name was the second best after USNY.
Excelsior College still is not appealing to me, but it’s what I have. They should change it to Excelsior State College to improve it.

Excelsior State College or Albany State College, since they are based in Albany, would be awesome. They both sound professional. Thomas Edison State University made a huge improvement when they went from college to university. I wonder if they are open to name changes.
