Everything for their degrees, they offer. They do accept transfer credit from other colleges and up to 30 ACE credits from a variety of places including Sophia. All of the courses contain all of the content necessary for the course as well. There's no outside reading needed.

So quick question - what are the GE Requirements? I am searching and can't find anything on that except that it's 40cr needed.

That is all I could find, as well.  I also couldn't find anything about Sophia.  I really want to be able to work faster than 8-week terms if I can.

Soooooo my entire plan has been thwarted with TESU switching to only accepting 90 credits.  So I am probably going to go the EC route.  I was working towards a BA in History, but I think I might just go for the liberal arts degree.  I don't know... I had a solid plan.  And now I have to rework.  Sad. Advice or suggestions are welcome.

TESU is now accepting only 90 credits of alternative (ACE/NCCRS) credit. You can still transfer in 114 credits (90 alternate, 24 RA) and take only the cornerstone/capstone at TESU. If you have 49 community college RA credits like dfrecore said, this transfer credit change doesn't really affect you.

I'm not trying to force you to stay at TESU, EC might be a much better fit, but I just wanted to make sure you had the correct information.

GR - HAUniv: 9 credits

Ok, so I am obviously very confused.  lol.  Sophia/SDC would be alternative, right?  So if I take the 120 needed for BA in History, minus the 49, that leaves 71.   So the minimum is for the Sophia/SDC courses (those type) only?  I thought it was a cap on transfer credits altogether.

Correct, Sophia/SDC are alternative. You should be fine since you have so much RA credit already. I haven't looked to see if they map to a BA History, but I assume you're fine.

TESU has a few different restrictions, but I don't expect you'd run into any of them.

It's definitely not a cap on total transfer credits, only the alternate transfer credits. You can still transfer in everything you need, except the capstone/cornerstone, of course. If you want to transfer to EC, that's fine. But it's totally not necessary! You're good and this new policy doesn't have any effect on you personally.
