Sure - TWO Hotdillons, on TWO degree-forums, both from Virginia, both of whom have looked at Nations and both who said they'd prefer to get CJ degrees... what a plethora of amazing coincidences! HEY, MR. RIPLEY -GOT SOMETHING FOR YOU!! hilarious

PS - And to top it off, I notice Hotdillon's profile now says USA, not Virginia. Pretty sure it did, before. No matter....

I am no judicial officer. I am female and i am 42. I did not know I would be made fun of with such a legitimate question. there are many schools looking to go tuition free so why is this a crazy question.
whoever is over this site please just terminate this thread for me. The people that have commented are obviously not up to date or speed on things.
I am not making fun of you. You do not appear to understand how things work. I am up to speed on things and so are the other people who responded.
Degrees aren't free. That's life. Degrees can be made less expensive, but they will still cost something. A master's degree is held to a higher standard. You cannot get a legitimate master's degree without working for it. You will have to do actual class work. What you have requested is not possible. The sooner you accept that, the better off you will be.

Western Governors U. is $3,250 for six-months of graduate courses, not based on credits earned. It is a very reasonable expense for graduate degrees, and if you can move quickly, you can complete a graduate degree for a fraction of the cost of other schools.

I'm more confused now than when I posted the question.
Who said I didnt want to work for the degree? Of course, if you want a recognized degree you have to work for it. Silly to think otherwise. Ill take every course they throw at me. I'm just concerned with cost....that's it. Geez!hilarious
Of course, I could pretend to take a whole course and just take one test to take its place and get college credit for it!

Hotdillon, I apologize if my previous comment was snarky, that was rude of me, but your question does read like you are looking for free, fast and easy. You appear to want the credential without the education. You started asking a nearly identical question on another forum, and continued to ask the same question with variations for about two years. Nothing has changed in two years. What are you asking now that is different?

I would also like to add: the people on this forum devote a lot of time to helping each other, pointing the way to resources and just offering advice from their experiences. If you are asking the same question over and over, it does appear like you have a found a discussion topic and just like to chat about it. If you just like to chat, there are other forums for that. If you are taking advantage of the members's helpfulness, you will encounter some anger and annoyance.

For what it's worth, I read the question as wanting options that are flat-rate pricing instead of the standard per-credit, similar to TESC's comprehensive tuition payment. Whether or not that was the true intent of the question, might as well give the benefit of the doubt and toss up the useful information that might help others reading, than enter a back-and-forth hand slap based on assumptions?

I think you need to reread the post. The title of the thread is "Tuition free masters..." and in the thread she says she has "no money"...

I'm not familiar with the OP's other posts, but this one said nothing about an easy master's. If you want a free master's degree, there are scholarship programs. The federal government offers several that come with a stipend and pay full tuition or you can piece together a bunch of smaller scholarship/fellowship awards. Start by searching on websites such as fastweb.com and scholarships.com. If you work for a government agency in homeland security, public safety, law enforcement, emergency management, etc.; they might sponsor you for a master's at the Naval Postgraduate School. There are many DETC schools that are really cheap. You'll just have to take out student loans and pay them back. It doesn't take too long to pay back $10,000 or so. My master's at an RA school is going to be less than $10,000 after getting a $1,000 Texas grant. The only other suggestion I have is to skip the master's and apply for fully-funded PhD programs.
