I'm thinking you'll get a PDF cert via email (nicer than the recent USF one ), and a nice little Tulane U thumb drive via snail mail. IMO, no certification, no badge.

I would have joined just for the USB, since the only swag I have left over from TU is some Mardi Gras beads, a novelty license plate, and an ill-fitting diving jacket. But if anyone completes this SoPA program, I'd be curious about your thoughts on your experience.

Well, they are at their capacity. And since they are offering it free and have finite funding, it would makes sense that they would only allow a finite amount of students as well.

We'll have to see what actually happens but it looks like you're supposed to pay extra to take the exam if you want ACE credit. It'll be interesting to see if Tulane possibly grants credit without the exam or if they provide an exam voucher at all. I don't think I'll be paying for the exam myself otherwise.

I've seen no mention of this course, or the Google cloud certification being worth ACE credit.
