That would allow one to get the 150 required to sit for the CPA exam. The WGU MAcc is still an option though I suppose. The closest that you are going to get is "Finance" but that would be a nice development. Maybe then UMPI would update their Federal Taxation courses to be actually useful and do newer returns than 2018...

Unlike most colleges, UMPI will transcript transfer credit that exceeds its degree requirements. For example, they accepted 122 credit hours of transfer credit for me + the required 30 credit hours at UMPI resulted in 152 credit hours for my BLS.

I’m trying to transfer 10 credits in healthcare that match OSU’s required electives. I was advised to take them directly at OSU to save on cost, but the MSB at UMPI might actually be cheaper if the healthcare management concentration is eligible. The issue is, I can’t find the specific catalog courses for that concentration. If anyone knows what those courses are or where to find them, I’d appreciate it.
I’m also considering the new UMASS MBA in AI (CBE format new offering). For someone just trying to hold a credible master’s in business, how does that compare to UMPI’s MSB in terms of reputation or acceptance?
Thanks for any input from those who’ve dealt with OSU, UMPI, or UMASSS
UMPI's MSB, Healthcare Management will be coming available, it is just not in the Fall 1 intial group.

Yeah that's not how it works for licensing such as a CPA. Each state has very specific requirements. My state has graduate credits required and very specific courses in the grad level. It's not just any old 150 credits.

I wish they offered an accounting/finance concentration instead of pure finance. Maybe they don’t have enough demand or profs to teach the accounting classes.
After I see what others say about the classes, I’ll consider enrolling in the MSB as I haven’t really found a good masters in accounting that I like and can afford. So may just settle for finance
I imagine most of the finance classes would require excel work and not as many papers (hopefully).
Many seem to be interested in BI, looks like it might be out sometime next year. I’m assuming they also don’t have enough profs for the classes especially who has a phd only woodman and curran come to mind. For finance trudel and maybe shah or reyes-F might be regular profs.

Hello
I recently applied for Spring Session 1 Master of Science in Business - Human Resource Management Concentration
My problem is I'm still currently scheduled to graduate BSBA in UoPeople on Term 2 (January), if I would not be able to get the transcript sent on email before Spring 1, what will happen? Does anyone have same case?

Awesome, nice find. Glad they are moving quickly with the next 3. Glad the Project Management is one of the next ones. Since I am putting my MSB on hold to pursue my MBA with UMASS Global, this will allow time for more concentrations to choose from. I am leaning towards AI Policy and Strategy as well as Project Management

You will not be admitted without a conferred Bachelors degree. You will have to move your date to Spring 2 or Summer 1,until after you receive your degree conferral official transcript.

I wouldn't assume this. When I took Managerial Finance at UMPI we had plenty of writing to do. Grad programs typically have a lot of writing. You usually discuss the theories instead of applying. Undergrads usually apply the theories.
