I got my audit back from my advisor and I'm a little confused.
I don't understand the redundancies of Eng 101, Eng 102, and POS 101
If I take the credits given to me on the audit and add in the ones I just completed, that comes to 84 so I think I still need 2 additional Study.com classes, correct?
- You took English I from Study.com
- You took English II from Study.com
- You took American Government from study.com
Did UMPI even accept your English I and II, or American Government from Study.com? It looks like they accepted your Biology. Did you tell them you plan on doing it with Study.com or have you sent those transcripts? It appears those missing classes above and those in your elective/major will add up to the total you need.
Okay. So once you transfer those 3 from Study.com you will need to do the following:
For your Accounting Minor you need to do all of these:
1 - BUS 220 - Managerial Accounting
2 - BUS 361 - Intermediate Accounting
3 - BUS 362 - Intermediate Accounting II
2 of any of the ones listed. You already completed Business Law I. I have no experience on what you should choose.
That's a total of 4 classes needed for Accounting.
You need 8 electives. The fastest/easiest ones will likely be the Political Science or History ones with Dr. Zabroney. You can do more of them at study.com but they need to be equivelent of the 300 levels. So outside of those 3 study.com classes, you have 12 to do. You can do another 2 at study.com if you want. But, it'd likely be faster to do it at UMPI.
You can likely get a political science minor along with your accounting minor really quickly by taking the following electives:
1. Marxism
2. Modern Political Thought
3. European Governments in the EU
4. Arab-Israeli Conflict
5. Vietnam Wars
6. Constitutional Law
7. Cold War Films
8. international relations
