Understanding physical and natural world credit be denied cmp-202?
#1
Hey guys. I am trying to finish up “understanding the physicial and natural world” section. I already took the straighterline nutrition class, and have study.com business 109 “intro to computing”, which transfered in as cos-101, satisfying my cis requirement. I am looking at taking study.com computer science 102  “fundamentals of information technology”.It shows that transfers in as cmp-202. There is ALOT of overlap. Has anybody had issues with having this class applied or not letting it transfer due to “fundamentals of information technology”?

What courses have you already taken? Have you taken Sophia courses yet? Human Biology and Intro to IT both fulfill this requirement. Environmental Science can also do so, IIRC.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I have stuck to clep, straighterline, and study.com.  If study.com fundamentals of IT works 28/89 quizzes are done. If it doesnt i will look into sophia.

That's your choice, obviously, it's just that SDC is a heck of a lot more expensive for LL credits than Sophia is now.

Yeah I'd do the two Sophia courses Rachel suggested. I thought those were enjoyable courses. If all you've done are Study and SL, paying $79 or whatever it is to try out Sophia is an absolute no-brainer.
