I hope they become an accredited university. They really need to get that RA done.

I agree but depends on what you use the degree for. Some jobs do not care for example government jobs and the military will accept it. Sometimes you just need it as a check box.
Degrees In Progress:
EVMS Doctor of Health Science
Completed Degrees:
Doctor of Healthcare Administration Dec 2021
Masters of Business Administration July 2022
Masters of Public Administration '19
Masters of Arts in Urban Affairs '17
Masters of Arts in Criminal Justice '16
Bachelors of Science in Police Studies '14
Advanced Graduate Certificate in Criminal Investigations '15

Keep an eye on what happens to TRACS' recognition from the Department of Education and CHEA. They're on shaky ground. They were not renewed for a 5-year term and, instead, were given 12 months to come into compliance with federal standards. ABHE and ATS, the other religious accreditors, were renewed for five years. I previously did not know that TRACS promotes creation science as a science, which causes issues when creationism is taught in science classes instead of theology classes. This probably isn't the issue the Department of Education has with TRACS, but it appears to be the issue CHEA has with TRACS. TRACS just isn't meeting the U.S. Department of Education's criteria; they noted bad behaviors by TRACS-accredited schools.

Correction: ABHE was not up for renewal this years; it was ABHES. ATS was renewed, though.

To be clear, two of those articles are concerning the longtime problematic status of ACCSC, which is not the same as TRACS. The TRACS article seemed to be wrapped up with concerns for CHEA only, no?

Read to the bottom. Both articles mention SDO decisions on ACAOM, TRACS, and COE.

I didn't read the whole WSJ article - too tired to register - but there was a brief mention of the teaching of creationism.  It wasn't clear to me if that was a factor in the review of the TRACS situation.

The WSJ article is about CHEA, and much of it talks about creation science. The other two articles are about the recent NACIQI and U.S. Department of Education decisions.

They are an accredited University. TRACS is their accreditor. I don't know if their current resources will translate well to a regional accreditor. It's a very small operation that is still getting its footing after years of financial issues.
