VUL or OakState for ENEB Master’s Credit Transfer?
#11
I thought VUL has a history of accepting Validential degree evaluations? This was brought up in a previous thread.

VUL DHA isn't competitive, if you've got the ENEB option, they'll take it with Validential as long as Validential is providing that equivalency...

Perhaps VUL will also accept the graduate professional development courses with an S grade towards the 90 graduate credits required by the State of Virginia. They offer classes in educational psychology, health, and athletic injuries, etc. https://www.isu.edu/onlinepd/

The issue is not that VUL doesn't accept Validential. The issue is some else reporting that Validential is now hit or miss... skittish?... on if they will evaluate anything from ENEB/Isabel.

OP seemed concerned about his options if they don't.

I’m currently deciding between Virginia University of Lynchburg (VUL) and OakState.edu after completing the Global Master’s from ENEB. I’m mainly trying to figure out which school will give me the most value based on transfer credit potential and how they evaluate foreign credentials.

Here’s what I’m considering:
1. Credit Transfer Potential: I’ve heard OakState might allow 18–30 transfer credits toward their Doctorate in Healthcare Administration (DHCA) program — which could make it significantly cheaper than VUL.
2. Accreditation & Evaluation: ENEB isn’t regionally accredited, but evaluators like Validential can convert it to the U.S. equivalent of a master’s degree. The tricky part is whether OakState accepts Validential, or only evaluators approved by AACOMAS.

My questions:
• Does anyone know if VUL or OakState is more likely to accept an ENEB Global Master’s evaluated by Validential?
• Has anyone actually transferred up to 30 credits from ENEB (or a similar program) into OakState’s DHCA program?
• If Validential isn’t accepted by OakState, does anyone know of a foreign evaluator that is AACOMAS-approved and has worked in similar cases?

Any insight would really help — I just want to make the smartest decision moving forward.

Thanks in advance!

VUL Graduate here. I have confirmed two things in answering your questions above.

1. Validential is no longer evaluating ENEB as of May 2025.
2. VUL is still accepting ENEB/Ui1 graduates for admissions into the DHA program, without the need for the Validential Evaluation. It is my understanding that VUL takes the Universidad Isabel I [issued degrees] into consideration for admissions, rather than the ENEB degree, since Ui1 is listed in the World Higher Education Database.

Is Oakstate a reference to Oklahoma State?  Is this just a typo or is this a completely different state program that I'm missing?
