Video Game for College Credit
#1
I just came across this and wanted to share. The University of North Carolina at Greensboro has devised a unique way to make Microeconomics more appealing to students. Microeconomics generally has a bad reputation among college students as being boring. Having taken a course on the subject, I'll have to agree.

Anyway, UNCG has created an online course for Microeconomics in the form of a video game. It looks pretty impressive, too; after finding the game, I almost wished I hadn't already taken Micro.

The game can be found here:

UNCG Presents: ECON 201 An Online Course For College Credit

Oh, and the tuition is very reasonable for a college course. (Not as good as the CLEP exam, of course, but not bad.)

Hi,

Has anyone taken this course? My daughter is really interested in taking it so I would be grateful for any feedback!
