I think this scholarship is always available there. Has been as long as I've been checking them out.

This is correct & from several posts on REDDIT, it seems that a decent amount who apply earn the scholarship. It should be noted that the $$ ($2,000) is broke up over two terms, so if you complete your degree in 1 term, you will be awarded $1,000. I wonder if anyone has petitioned for that additional $1k and won. Have to figure if there was, this would have been talked about on a forum or two.

Actually it says that the $2500 is divided into 4 terms, so $625 per.  Kind of sucks, but it's better than nothing.

It seems like there are not many qualifications for the scholarship, and that everyone just gets them automatically (and there are different ones for different people, so business, IT, teachers, nurses, etc - all based on which degree you're trying to get.

The scholarship already existed. They're probably just pumping more money into it so that more people can receive it.

Guess I am the exception.

If one can transfer in 90 credits and a "big if" can complete 30 WGU credits in one term it is a great deal.

$3335 - $650 Veteran Scholarship = $2685 Wink for a BS degree!
