WGU Bachelor Degree Requirements - Gen Ed, Electives, Major
#1
WGU is a great exclusively online institution that has several states endorsing them. For individuals looking at WGU degrees, they have particular requirements, and I usually recommend trying to max your transfer credits before enrolling at the institution.  As always recommended, review their partners.wgu.edu for alternative credit providers and create a spreadsheet of requirements for reference and tracking purposes...

An example is using Study.com to max those alternative credits for transfer, if you completed 6 courses in one month using the $95 plan, that’s just about $15 per course. Way below the cost of most providers, and you’re earning real, transferable college credit. Study.com just rolled out a major update: No more unnecessary quizzes, no proctoring, no busywork, 100% online and self-paced, and new pricing models.

College Starter - $95/month: Unlimited courses (in a month), enroll in 2 at a time (lower division)
College Saver - $235/month: Access to all upper + lower division, enroll in 3 courses at a time, with no limit on how many you can take in a month

For $95/month you can complete as many lower-division courses as you can manage, 2 at a time. If you hustle, the cost-per-course drops fast. They even removed proctoring requirements which are huge for flexibility. Upper division access is available too if you want to knock out tougher credits.

Here’s the link I’ve been using to explore more: https://bit.ly/3RTJ3I9

Let me know what you think of the changes — these seems like it's what I am looking for from Study.com

I think with this new change, achieving a degree through WGU is even easier now and thanks to their partnership with Study.com, mapping out a degree plan is super easy. Plus, I'm pretty certain if you use Sophia/Study.com, WGU gives you a tuition discount. I was a student there a couple of years ago and I knocked out 5 courses with them, but their testing services and the way in which they grade papers makes it quite frustrating.
