What three GE classes do I need for CIS
#1
Hello,

I have 3 classes left to pick for GE's.  I was wonder what would be the easiest and fastest to get done based on the classes I have finished.  Attached is a link to a spreadsheet of my progress, please give me a few ideas!

Thanks!

There's an issues with the spreadsheet. You can't take the Business Capstone TECEP anymore, it'll have to be an Online Course or the Guided Study course. As for the Gen Ed recommendation, which provider do you like most?

Straighterline it seems, if you still have membership, I would take 3 History Classes. Survey of World History, US History I & US History II or Western Civilizations I & II (All five are listed in my spreadsheet template within my Beginners Guide BSBA General Management 2018).

If you're going for Study.com, you can take similar courses OR courses that interest you - as long as it's in the Arts/Sciences. If you want to cheap out, then go for 3 Saylor exams, lastly, choose any 3 Shmoop for non proctored craziness.

Since you've taken high-level math and computers, some lower level math or computer courses would probably be the easiest possible choices.

TECEP - Applied Liberal Arts Math, Computer Concepts & Applications
Shmoop - Finite Math, Mathematics I, Geometry
DSST or Ed4Credit - MIS
Study.com - Geometry,
Coopersmith - Geometry, Concepts in Math & Quantitative Analysis, MIS

Just an FYI, I don't think Saylor's Computer Communications is a credit-bearing course? I've never seen that one.

Ah, I missed the Networks part so didn't recognize it.  That one I definitely knew about.

I also have a question about Strategic management.  Where do I take it, from TESU or some other institution?  Is it a test or a class?

Seriously, the answer is in your quote of my text. "You can't take the Business Capstone TECEP anymore, it'll have to be an Online Course or the Guided Study course." The course is only available at TESU, and it's the only course you will need, the rest you transfer in as per the spreadsheet.

Strategic Management is the title of the BSBA Capstone course. Once upon a time you could transfer it in, and even after that went away you could take it as an exam, but now the only choice is to take it as a course at TESU.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

It might duplicate the TECEP.

I don't see the TECEP listed as part of their plan
