Where should I go?
#11
AMU is a fine school and I have heard nothing but good things about it. They are more liberal with accepting CLEP/DSST credits than most schools but they still have limits. Have you checked out Thomas Edison's Military programs? Go to tesc.edu and click around. I would say TESC is as good about accepting credit-by-exam as Excelsior, and the name sounds better.

I am in the Navy and finished my Rate (MOS) related Associates degree using nothing but Military credits and the tests in my signature. They also have a lot of Army MOS related degress, for a list check out Army Career Degree Plans Listed by College/University and look for Thomas Edison. The only bad part about this school is the customer service can really suck. The good thing for you and me is that we get to deal (mostly) with the Military Office. I have found that staff to be very helpful and professional. They can be tough to get on the phone sometimes (they get quite busy) but they are excellent over email.

Good luck!
