Educational attainment is associated with the highest level of social mobility
#1
Which level of educational attainment is associated with the highest level of social mobility (or lowest level of social immobility)?.........................4-year college degree

According to Torche’s research, which level of educational attainment is associated with the lowest level of social mobility (or highest level of social immobility)?
.....................................Advanced Degree

This might be the past or current, but the future will be different on both?

My guess is that advanced degrees aren't associated with social mobility because advanced degrees are more often earned by people who are upper middle class and upper class.

That was my guess too.  If you're already upper middle class, there's not that far you can go, whereas someone who is poor/lower middle class can attain far more percentage-wise with a 4-yr degree.  More bang for your buck.
